Tool DESIGN
Injection moulding is something HBL has vast experience in, with many years of product development particularly in plastics.
From having our own in-house facility back in the 1990’s we have developed close long term working relationships with reputable, reliable and proven sub contactors from the UK to the Far East to undertake this work on our behalf. We can deal with most eventualities from large mouldings to micro-minature.
As well as injection moulding we have our own in-house model shop also that can design tooling, production jigs and fixtures to enable speedy set-up of production facilities and lines to meet customer demands.
Prototyping
HBL has invested in 3D printing technology; this in-house facility allows us to prototype concepts and working models within a matter of hours.
Pre – production
Pre-Production sees the use of off tool parts and off process manufacture to finally prove the design & build process.
