3D PRINTING AND RAPID PROTOTYPING
HBL has invested in 3D printing technology; this in-house facility allows us to prototype concepts and working models within a matter of hours.
We have 2 3D printers – The Objet Connex 260 printer and the new Objet260 Connex3. They can build multi-material models up to 255 × 252 × 200 mm (10.0 x 9.9 x 7.9 in) with 16-micron layer accuracy. We can print up to 140 material options enabling us to simulate a range of mechanical and physical properties; from rubber to rigid, opaque to transparent and even ABS-grade.
Development
The Company philosophy is to use multi skilled teams from new product development through to continuous improvement activities.
Tooling
Injection moulding is something HBL has vast experience in, with many years of product development particularly in plastics.
